Every time they needed to present a summary of their investment monitoring, the management team at PLN Indonesia Power Barru went through the same routine. Data had to be screenshotted one by one and then rearranged into presentation slides. The process was time consuming, prone to missed details, and had to be repeated every time the data changed.
That need led them to ask Aistech to build an investment monitoring website.
More than just monitoring
We saw that the problem was not only how the data was displayed, but also how it was read. So we developed the solution into a website that does more than track investment progress. It also presents summaries and insights that are ready to use for presentations and decision making. The website also includes cloud based storage for internal documents, so important files are kept safely in one place and are easy for authorized users to access.
How we worked
In-depth discussion. We started with a session to map out the core problem as well as the additional needs of the project.
Concept design. Our UI/UX team created a concept of the website, covering its flows and the features it needed.
Field testing the concept. The concept was tested directly with the team on site to refine the flows and make sure the data shown was accurate.
Development. Once the concept was agreed on, we started building the website.
Live testing and revisions. The developed website was deployed and tested by its users. We gathered their feedback and implemented the revisions.
The result
The investment monitoring website was completed and went live on schedule. To this day, PLN Indonesia Power Barru still uses it to monitor and present its investment summaries.
